Training Connections
Training Connections is a component of Family Support Services. It offers
Alameda family service providers educational opportunities that are culturally appropriate and cross-disciplinary, promote delivery of quality services and support best practices in caring for children ages 0-5 and their families.
Specialty Topic Seminars:
- Occur monthly
- Are three-hour trainings
- Are free to Alameda County family service providers
This year, the Specialty Topic Seminars take an in-depth look at child development. Learning objectives for each session promote new ways of understanding and deepen the discussion about race and culture and its influence on a child's development.
