Quality Counts |
Site based coaching and specialized consultation for early care and education programs to improve quality of child care. Early Childhood Mental Health consultation is available to sites to promote positive social and emotional climate of the classroom. Programs are eligible to receive grants to make classroom improvements and incentives for teacher training. |
Home Visiting |
Funding for county and community agencies to provide pre-natal and post-partum home visits for teen parents and high risk families. |
Neighborhood Partnership Grant Project |
Capacity-building partnership between First 5 Alameda County and six city libraries and park and recreation departments to offer family-centered school readiness programming in neighborhoods with low-performing schools. |
